Eurozone final CPI softens to 1.3 percent y/y in March, misses estimates

According to Eurostat’s final reading of Eurozone CPI report, the consumer prices came in at 1.3% on a yearly basis, a tad softer than the flash estimate. While the core figures matched the first readout of 1%.

On a monthly basis, the bloc’s CPI figure for March accelerated to 1.0% versus 0.2% previous while the core CPI numbers jumped to versus 1.4% expected and 0.4% last.
